About Us

Founded in 2002, Rock Works Landscape is a growing company dedicated to installing beautiful landscapes that meet your needs and desires.

Owned and operated by Alex Grandmaison and Dallas Husar, Rock Works Landscape offers its clients over 30 years of combined horticultural and landscaping experience. In addition to our landscaping experience we both have a long history of working with plants in various venues.

Alex holds a diploma in Turf Management from L’Institut de technologie agroalimentaire,at McGill University, specializing in golf course irrigation. Alex has over 15 years of experience working on world class golf courses. He has worked as the assistant superintendant at Greywolf Golf Course, in Panaroma BC and second assistant at Cordova Bay on Vancouver Island. Alex was involved with the restoration of the Stanley Thompson golf course at the Banff Springs Hotel as well as working on the construction of Gorge Vale on Vancouver Island.

Dallas holds a certificate in Horticulture from the University of Guelph, as well as 11 years of experience in gardening and landscaping. Dallas has worked as a gardener at the Cascade Gardens for Parks Canada, as well as the Town of Banff. She has also worked for the Banff Springs Hotel as a grounds keeper.
